Cooking Class feeds the Spirit

On Sunday, September 1, many met in the kitchen of our wonderful Port St. Lucie SDA church, to learn about and create food! The leader for this class is none other than Sister Crossfield. 

So what was on the menu for today's class? So happy you asked. Today's menu was lentil vegetable soup and home made almond milk (yum!). 

After the introduction and the body of work was done, everyone was able to taste the fruits of their labor and partake of the soup and milk. I asked Sister Gene Headley what she thought of the soup and she definitively says "it was good." 

I, Leonard, cannot wait until the next class. What culinary secrets will this class unfold to willing ears? Stay tuned to find out.
